RENTAL INFORMATION AND REGULATIONS


All reservations will receive a rental agreement by email and USPS.

CHECK IN: 4:00 pm
CHECK OUT: 10:00am


Office Opens at 9:00am. Closed on Sundays, September 15th to May 15th.

Carolina Resort Realty, Inc. rents to families, married couples and adults (over 25 years of age) only. We do not rent to fraternities, sororities, or any non-family groups of any kind. In the event that a non-family group attempts to check in, entry will be refused and any advanced deposits will be forfeited. No trailers, boats, or recreational vehicles are allowed at any property. Condominium parking is limited to a set number of vehicles per condo. Typically 1-3 bedroom units are limited to 2 vehicles.

Check In/Out Days:

In peak season generally Saturday to Saturday, (exceptions may be possible).

Late Arrivals: If full advanced payment has been made, keys will be left in the late arrival box outside the office front door. The combination to this box is printed on your confirmation form.

Reservations: As a general rule, a deposit of 50% of the rental rate is due within 14 days of receipt of the rental agreemnet. Exceptions to this policy should be discussed with the rental office as the advance deposit can be paid in 2 or 3 installments, if necessary. Personal checks will be accepted for pre-payment up to 21 days in advance. Typically balances are due 21 prior to arrival.

Upon Check-in: Every effort is made to insure that your residence will be found clean and in good order upon your arrival. Please inspect the property thoroughly upon arrival, and inform the office of any damages or items needing repair immediately.

Check-out: Keys need to be returned to the office. For early departures, keys can be deposited in the box outside the office front door. There will be a $5.00 service fee for keys not turned in.

Rates: Are set according to location of unit, condition, number of bedrooms and amenities offered. Rates for weekends only are up to 75% higher depending upon the season. In general 2 nights have a higher rate than 3 nights etc. The advertised daily rates are for arrivals Sunday through Wednesday. Rates during special periods are subject to increase. All rates are subject to 10% sales tax.


Winter Rentals (October 1 through May 15) are available on many of our units. Call for prices.

Security Deposit: All rentals are subject to a credit card voucher to be held against any damage or additional cleaning required. If renter does not have a credit card, a cash deposit of $200.00 is required.

Damages: Any damage found upon departure will be charged to the guests credit card unless damage was reported by renter upon check-in.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy: During May 15 to September 15, we require a 90-day notice. During remainder of the year a 30-day notice must be given. For cancellations within the time period, the unit must re-rented for the entire time period for a refund to be made. All cancellations are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Reservation can be transferred to another week but are subject to a $100.00 transfer fee.

Pets: Pets are not allowed in any unit.

Furnishings and Equipment: All units are privately owned and furnished to the owners preference. Advertised amenties, are as rental agent understands them and that agent shall not be responsible for discrepanices in available unit amenities, as they are subject to change. Further in the event of problems with equipment, amenities or furnishings every effort will be made to correct or repair any reported problem ASAP, no refunds will be made for appliance failure or for changes in furnishings or amenities as the units are privately owned, and privately maintained.

Departure Cleanup, Maid Service and Linens: A departure cleaning fee plus an administrative fee is required on all
rentals. You are required to take out your trash and wash and put away your dishes. All other cleaning will be handled by our staff. Linens are not included in the rental and may be rented. Soap and toilet tissue are included with the linen package, otherwise the guest must provide these items.
Linens rental costs are approximately:
$10/night for a one bedroom
$15/night for 2/3 bedroom
$20/night for 4/5 bedroom

Travel Agents: We will pay commission to travel agents on golf packages and all vacation rentals when property identified in advance on the booking and have been provided a valid IATA #

Telephone: Local calls are free. ( North Myrtle Beach calls are local only) Long distance and collect calls should not be charged to the unit phone. A collection fee of $25.00 will be added to any phone charges incurred during your stay.

Calls to Myrtle Beach and Other: Such measured calls dialed like local calls are "cost Plus" calls. Please note: You must be sure when using a computer and connecting to the internet that is with a local number or 800 number as substantial cost can be involved.

Reserving For Next Year: After the homeowner, you will be given first option on the rental of your unit for the same time period next year. A deposit of $100.00 is required before check-out to hold your unit for you. After check-out, the unit is made available to the public.

Miscellaneous: Although every effort is made, errors can occur. Corrections in pricing or descriptions may occur at any time without notice. In the event you lock yourself out after office hours (since a service person must be called) there is a $25 fee due at that time to the person that is called to let you back in to your unit. So please remember your keys!
