My family and I recently stayed at this vacation rental for six days. While there were a few positive aspects of the property, the numerous maintenance issues, safety concerns, and poor customer service significantly overshadowed any positives. I believe future guests deserve an honest and complete account of our experience so they can make an informed decision before booking. To begin with, I want to acknowledge that the home itself was generally clean upon arrival. Housekeeping appeared to have done a good job cleaning the living spaces, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Unfortunately, cleanliness alone does not make for a comfortable or enjoyable vacation when the property suffers from multiple maintenance issues that interfere with basic functionality and create legitimate safety concerns. One of the first things we noticed was that nearly all of the furniture, both inside and outside the home, was extremely dated and showed considerable wear. While I understand that furniture does not have to be brand new, many of the pieces appeared to have exceeded their useful life. The outdoor furniture was particularly worn, making it less inviting to relax outside, and the indoor furnishings lacked the comfort and quality one would reasonably expect from a vacation rental at this price point. Another inconvenience was the laundry room’s location. Unlike most vacation homes where the laundry area is accessible from within the house, this property’s laundry room could only be reached by exiting the home and entering through an exterior door. This may not seem like a major issue until you actually have to use it multiple times during your stay. Walking outside each time to do laundry is inconvenient, particularly if it’s raining, late at night, or if you’re traveling with children. The house could use some upgrades(ie. a TV hung on the wall above the stairs in the kitchen/living area upstairs, a TV in the master suite upstairs). It was a great size in terms of bedrooms for my 15 person family. The location was ideal, close to restaurants and the pier and right across the road from public beach access. The refrigerator gave us issues but a repair was offered that day that lasted through our stay. Overall good experience.

I was not satisfied with my stay. Two of the showers we could not use. Two of the tvs did not work. There were used towels behind one of the beds. The front of the house looked abandon. When I told the office again when I dropped off my keys there was nothing said to satisfy my complaint but we are sorry for this that’s it. I have rented in Myrtle Beach for years because my sons play AAU. I can honestly say this was my worse stay. I know there is nothing or will be done because hey you got your money what can I do. But I will know next time.
